I'm interested in contemporary issues related to women, human rights and community. I rely in a variety of mediums to shape the concept of my work such as mixed media and printmaking. Since 2017 I have been practicing with the idea of crisis and shortage of resources in mind that will help me go on with projects such as silkscreening by hand, drawing on discarded cardboard box material and animal bones. The use of textile and sewing skills also shape some of my work to create dialogues between my domestic and public realities that question the structure of means for survival honoring my ancestral heritage like the surviving African ancestors that founded the community in the geographical area where I stablished my home-studio, the swamplands of  Barrio Machuchal.
